What I'm doing

  • Working on my first client project, a product website for a consultant
  • Designing websites for clients in cooperation with a friend's company
  • Developing my personal website for my work as a freelance web designer and developer
  • Thinking a lot about how to improve and optimize me and my life
  • Working out 4-5 times a week with weights in my home gym
  • Stretching, meditating, and journaling every morning, reflecting every day
  • Reading Ikigai - The Japanese Secret to a Long and Happy Life by Francesc Miralles and Hector Garcia
  • Learning Japanese and how to play the guitar on the side

What I'm enjoying

  • Connecting with people. Messaging friends and family, talking to like-minded people on Twitter, and meeting the ones I love in person
  • Going on adventures. Whether it's close to my home or somewhere farther away, I want to experience what life has to offer
  • Learning new things. Related to web development, languages, people, instruments, and what I want for life
  • Reading. For years I didn't pick up a book, but now I'm finally back at it
  • Taking and editing photos. Photography is a big passion, and I'm working on sharing my photos on my website
  • Playing video games. Currently, I'm playing Genshin Impact and The Elder Scrolls Online

What I'm working towards

  • Establishing myself as a freelance web designer and developer to become financially independent and make some money to travel the world
  • Discovering what life I want and taking action to make it a reality - the vision in my mind is getting clearer every day
  • Trying to build more habits - going outside and doing something from my eternal to-do list every day, meeting a close person, and trying new recipes every week

ジャーニー (Jānī) is Japanese for journey.
